Wilhelmshafen this morning. 1 Lancaster
is missing. More than 1000 Flying Fortresses
and Liberators attacked marshalling yards
at Cologne and 3 airfields in Western
Germany this morning. They were escorted
by between 500 and 750 long range
fighters, on account of clouds results
could not be seen. Wellingtons
