Urbino has been captured. Mosquitoes went to Frankfort last night. Mines were also laid. A few flying bombs came over last night and this morning. Police troubles in Denmark continue.

48 hours after leaving Vernon on the banks of the Seine our troops have reached out 65 miles to Amiens which place they entered at dawn this morning. Our troops made this advance in pelting rain and along muddy road. Driving all through the night. From Amiens the line of the Somme will be sealed off to Abbeville. On the coast between Seine and Somme there are many flying bomb installations, stores, deports and even some launching sites too. Allied troops are also a few miles north of Laon and within 30 miles from the Belgian and Luxembourg borders. In the East American troops are 90 miles from the German frontier at Saarbrücken.
