Neuss. Over 1100 American Flying
Fortresses and Liberators escorted
by some 750 fighters attacked Hamm,
Munster, Hannover and Brunswick.
Targets in Western Germany were also
attacked by Mosquitoes last night
also without loss. Today's fighters
destroyed 13 railway engines and barges.
There was no fighter opposition and flak
was moderate. Mosquitoes of a Canadian
squadron went deep into Germany
this afternoon. There are more widespread
Russian successes to announce.
