Stewart McPherson reported about the stubborn
German resistance between Antwerp and
the coast. Last night the Germans shelled
the Southern part of Ghent. All bridges across
the Ghent Canal had been smashed.
Godfrey Talbot reporting from Italy said
that Tito's partisans are flying in our
aircraft. They have been trained by N.C.O.'s
of the R.A.F. and are most from Slovenia.
Robert Barr gave details about meat supplies
for Paris and said that in 32 days 5
herds of cattle numbering 255 head
had been driven from Caen to Paris.
