Zeebrugge British troops have entered Ghent,
In their advance toward Liege American
troops crossed the Meuse below Namur and
they are not meeting much opposition.
In the Mons pocket 14000 prisoners were taken and
50 tanks too. 1500 vehicles were also destroyed.
Today our troops have entered the outskirts of Le
Havre and Brest has been attacked this morning.
The Moselle has been reached and the German
frontier actually been crossed. Gerbrandy
the Prime Minister of the Netherlands said
goodbye on the eve of his departure for Holland.
He said democratic rights will be restored
and elections held as soon as possible.
