losing 15. In Southern Poland the Russians
have a bridgehead across the Vistula
and advances were also made beyond
Jarosław and Przemyśl. Stalin received the
Polish Premier in the Kremlin last night.
On Tinian 5000 Japanese have been killed
and on Guam now 8000 whereas the
Americans advanced another 2 miles.
Heavy losses were caused to flying bombs
last night. In the Straits of Dover weather is
fine and sunny after a night of brilliant
