From Italy a further progress of some 20
miles is reported. Our troops are now

at Constantza, oil refineries and railway

19 planes destroyed, 17 lost including
12 heavy bombers. Last night targets in Hungary
were attacked but details are not yet
available. Again 4000 pound blockbusters
were dropped on Berlin last night. 2 planes are
missing. The battle on the Karelian Isthmus
is going on. This new offensive was announced
