that their troops are evacuating Sebastopol.
There is no change on the other fronts in Russia
but there is more activity in the North where
Kokka [?] and places in Estonia have been
attacked by the Russians. The entire front in
Italy is generally quiet. 8th Army troops are
following up the slight German withdrawal.
Bad weather hampered air activity but
our light bombers and fighters were fairly
active. Genoa and Leghorn were bombed
last night. 8 planes are missing.
Parliament has been hearing a Government's
statement on the prices of secondhand
furniture. Roosevelt held his first
press conference since a month
