Bomber Command sent out more than
1100 aircraft last night against German
railway centres at Cologne, near Brussels,
outskirts of Paris and Pas de Calais.

assault on Germany when railway
targets in Germany, France and Belgium
were attacked. In Belgium a centre 15
miles S. East of Brussels was attacked.

waters. Cologne is an important railway
centre and Lancasters bombed it.
