Allied troops South of Rome have been
reinforced and the bridgehead had been
advanced. In North Russia the Germans
are being driven from strong defenses
between Leningrad and Lake Ilmen.
British and American troops have
further improved their positions and
been reinforced.
South West of Littoria a sharp clash
has taken place between our troops
and the Hermann Goering division.
French troops have gained important
heights whereas the Americans also
improved their positions and advanced
in the Cassino area. Patrols of
the Americans have been in the
outskirts of Cassino for some hours.

3 enemy aircraft were destroyed
and we lost two planes. Our Middle
East aircraft have attacked shipping
in the Aegean and one aircraft was
