The 5th Army is pushing Northward from
Naples to the Volturno river line
Two good airfields with concrete runways
have fallen in our hands in the Naples
area. 8th Army continue to strengthen
position. There is no news about the fighting
on Kos. Fighters and fighter bombers were
over France and the Low Countries.
An oil refinery at Ghent was attacked
and also barges, railway engines
and aircraft on the ground. 6 planes are
missing from the day's work. Our home fleet
and US. ships are out after enemy ships
off Norway.
